There are few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it.

* FIRST : the emergency number worldwide for mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency nunber for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.but not all cell phone models will allow special emergency number to be dialed even if the phone lacks a simcard or the keypad is locked.
* SECOND : Have you locked your keys in the car before, and does you car have remote keyless entry ? This may come in handy someday... Good reason to own a cell phone; if you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at home to press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock, and this saves someone from driving your keys to you. You can be hundred of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the remote for your car, you can also unlock the door.
NOTE : I have tried it and it worked.

* THIRD : Hidden battery power, imagine your cell battery is very low, to activate press keys *3370# your cell phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge the cell phone next time.

* FOURTH : How to disable a stolen mobile phone : To check phones serial number, key in the following digits on your phone. *#06# a 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset, write it down and keep it somewhere safe, when your cell phone gets stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them the code. They will be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the simcard,your phone will be totally useless, you probably won't get your phone back, but atleast you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there won't be point in people stealing phones.

*FIFTH : Cellphone companies are charging us$1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes the situation even more of a problem. When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial:(800)free 411, or(800)3733411 without incurring any charge at all, however this is only available in few country for now.....

HOW TO SEND APPLICATION ON NOKIA S40 PHONES.

Am always happy and feeling cool.
This is a simple Tutorial on how to SEND JAR FILE FROM S40 To other phones, this Tutorial comes Alives because of some restriction on S40. As a S40 user you cannot share application among yourself, except you are the smart type.
Once any Application Jar, extension is installed on the phone it becomes copyrighted content. But in order to by pass this difficulty, i found a way for u to be able to send an application from your phone.
Lets go there.........

In other to be able to send a jar file from your Nokia phone to other bluetooth enabled phone. You will need two application to perform this action.
APPLICATION NEEDED.

1. Ucweb Browser.. Any of this version 6.3,6.5,6.6,6.7,7.0.

2. BT File Manager or Blue FTP.

Having got these two application on your phone, you can now be able to send jar application to other Bluetooth enable java phone.

STEPS
1. The first step is to have jar file downloaded with Ucweb Browser on your phone. Do not make any change in the file you downloaded with Ucweb browser. Just leave it in the form it was downloaded to your phone.

2. Anytime you want to share your application with a friend, just open your Bluetooth File Manager or Bluetooth FTP and tell your friend to switch on his own bluetooth. With BT FILE MANAGER or Blue FTP locate the file you want to share on your phone, mark the file and copy it.

3. Then click back option to search for your friend phone. After you have make a connection with him, locate his folder, and paste the marked file you want to share with him.
Note : you can paste it in any folder you like.

4.Now rename the file you have transfered to that phone from underscore Jar to Dot jar. That file will change to the application you expected, at first it will read invalid file or unsupported format file. You dont need to panic, when u see this happen, just rename the application to dot jar

5. Switch off your phone for some seconds or a minute and switch on again. Now ur friend can enjoy the application
you sent...

HOW TO EDIT AND CREATE YOUR OWN THEMES

.I know you gonna love this, to create your own theme just follow the steps below :

1. Open ur BlueFtp, use it to create a folder then go to where you store ur themes, press1 on it n back, then locate the new folder you created.

2. Open the folder and press3, it will copy d theme u choose to edit, click on the themes you will c everything used in making that theme, all the files in that theme will be shown.

3. Then go to the place you stored your picture, press* on the pic you want to use, like 4 or 6 pics(wif, jpg, gif, 4mat) press1 and go back to the folder you created, then press3, it will paste it there.

4. After that, just scroll on the pics in the themes e.g(merlin.jpg) write it down n delete it, go back 2 ur pics n rename it with d name of d one you deleted, do that on the rest pics.

5. When you finish, press the left soft keypad, scroll down and click on select all, press the left soft keypad again, scroll down n click compress nth, it will bring something like file, dont panic, just press ok it will start compressing, after compressing exit BlueFtp and go to apply your themes.

I am very happy to be with you all, today i will be teaching you how to tap someone's call.
Below are the steps

1= Firstly, you need to take the person's phone when he or she is not around or seeing you.
2= Now dial this code in the persons phone **06* followed by your own number eg **06*08069999999#
3= After dialing the above code successfully, now whenever the person recieves a phone call, your phone will also ring and when you answer, you will be able to listen to their conversation.

HINT to cancel, press ##002#
NB - This doesn't work in all phones. And please you are adviced to have credit on your phone.

HOW TO BLOCK UR ENEMY's SIMCARD & HEAR FM WITHOUT HEADPHONES ON UR PHONE

Here i am going to share a simple trick to block your enemy simcard.
Blocking a simcard is too simple. What u have to do is just enter the below code in the desired phone.
**04*3814*7529*68243#
Entering the above Code will ask u to enter the puk code, with dat u have succeeded blocking it.
To unravel this just call customer care, and get your Puk Code.

Note : Entering the invalid Puk will cause Permanent blocking of your sim.

HEAR FM WITHOUT HEADPHONES.
Most of the mobile phones have the condition that you have to connect the earphones or Headphones to hear FM, but i have come with a trick for all Motorola Mobiles, so that you can hear FM in loud mode without using headphones.
The trick is that you dial a small secret code in your Motorola and after that you could use your FM either way connected or without connecting just dial, *#**372# or *#**376# and you can use this trick tested on an Motorola W220 and works on all Motorola Productions.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD WITH OPERA MINI ON YOUR PHONE

I dont know why people are having problem downloading with operamini cos i never experience that.
Alright...,.. Let me get started without wasting time cos i know u will be eager to hear this solution,.

1. First, click on the application you want to download, it will display an option to open then press #7, the title address and URL address bar of the file will appear.

2. Enter into the box and copy the link, now minimize/close opera 4.2, and launch opera 5 and go to www.t9space.com.

3. At t9space.com, you will see a URL bar paste the file download link you copied, click Yes and it will start downloading. After downloading is complete, open Xplorer or any other file manager, go to the downloaded file and rename the file cos it will be written as e.g opera.jar&t9id, delete the &t9id and let it be like this opera-jar. Then locate the file on your phone and rename to jar.
For symbian users after renaming, your file is good to go and can now be installed. Thats all....
